Split Multiple Contacts From One Large vCard File

Sometimes a complete address book is exported and saved inside one large VCF file. Although this file keeps everything together, handling contacts individually later may become inconvenient. For example, sharing only a few contacts or importing selected entries into another system may require each contact to exist in its own file.

In order to verify the accuracy of the present data prior to any modification, the software provides a preview window containing the current list of contacts.

The application has the ability to open VCF-formatted files that were created using vCard versions 2.1, 3.0, or 4.0 and will therefore work with files that have been produced by a variety of devices/applications. Once the user is confident with the data presented, the software will create separate ‘VCF’ files from the large VCF file.
